Fall started a few days ago but it didn’t really feel like fall yet. It was still hot and muggy outside. However, since there was a cold front last night, it was quite breezy this morning. When I walked outside my house this morning, there was a breeze swaying the trees and causing leaves to fall. I can’t help but relate this weather to my life. When school started, it was senior year and everything was supposed to drastically change. Well, of course things didn’t change as expected. It was senior year, but it didn’t feel like senior year—nothing had changed since summer. Well, now the wind is starting to blow and things are beginning to change. Things are getting a little less hot and a little cooler. All of the summer drama is starting to die down and a new page is turning. As fall begins, the breeze blows away the old leaves leaving the tree to stand by itself waiting for new leaves to grow.
embrace the change.
